On of the great privileges of being an Air Cadet, is the ability to go Gliding. 3 cadets from 150 attended a Gliding school near Little Risington on the 24th February 2020. They undergo, ground school training in a flight sim, then on field training to assist with the launching of the gliders and finally each get a turn to join a pilot and go for a flight, weather permitting.

On this occasion the cadets were spoiled with a surprise visit from the Commandant Air Cadets, who turned up un-announced and unexpected. She spent time talking to the cadets to ensure they were being looked after and having a great time.
